<< Pat - If the Amati stock is in a brokerage account the $20 per share will be
automatically transferred to your accoun >>

Please people, we still live in a democracy. No one can force you to do anything you dont want to do. There is no automatic money transferred to your account. Ultimately TI will have to go to court to snatch your shares. They will win only if there is something in the byelaws of AMTX or in securities law that permits them to take you shares without your approval

[buyout]

<<<I firmly believe that the $20 offer can and will be topped. But this is only MHO.>>>

I agree it can but I have no idea if it will be. However, I would imagine it'll take TI quite a while to get over 51%, perhaps right up to the 23rd, as most shareholders will hold on if for no other reason than to see if there's a better offer. Judging by how sudden the TI offer came public, it's unlikely investors will have advance notice next time, either. Sheesh. . . I feel sad for anyone who sold before the TI announcement. The price hit 19.75 before the market even opened.

As you know, I'm an optimist.

Have a great Thanksgiving!
