OT - TJ, for me it is much more than just disturbing, I had nightmares for years and every time I see on the street some of my mother friends with their care takers I am getting the chills even after 4 years. I never imagined that a state that claims to be Jewish will violate the very basic human laws which are part of the 10 commandments with impunity, out of “budgetary restraints” by killing under claims of euthenasia in a state hospital a holocaust survivor who paid medical insurance for over 45 years, and then hearing claims by a Israeli Police officer who supposedly was investigating the case, that I am egoistic because I wanted to fulfill my mother wish to live. When I mentioned that my mother wants to live, to members of the hospital management they laughed and told me that I have a cognitive problem, even that I was my mother court appointed decision maker. Yes and this is in Tel Aviv and not some 3rd world or tyranic country. The very sad part is that I am not alone, but most keep quiet about their pain and injustice.
