This "informal advisor" smells a lot like Norm Coleman. I don't know why Romney lets this guy hang around. This is the political genius that got beat by the washed up comic Al Franken.

Yes, Palin has been a great American etc. Nobody here denies that. However, in the country as a whole, Palin is a polarizing figure. If Romney picked a woman as VP, many might think, "Here we go again, just like unprepared Sarah." That would be unfair and unfortunate.

It is my hope that Palin will aggressive campaign for Romney and be willing to actually use Romney's name when she talks about the 2012 election. If she does that, she will be putting country above personal gain.

I personally think Romney believes the best VP bet is a "quiet" type, male or female.
