You guys always sqwack about the Medeival Warming Period as if it has something to do with Global Warming today.

Apparently Mann believed it did, which is why he did everything possible to act like it didn't happen, so his model would resemble a "hockey stick" and not a second iteration of an event that occurred PRIOR to any possible Anthropogenic influence.

The fact that you cannot see its scientific importance is reflective of your UTTER IGNORANCE of Climate science, current or past.

Why do alarmists work so hard at saying it didn't exist or was only a local climate fluctutation with no global impact? Because it's hard to claim we're facing imminent catastrophic warming when it was warmer a thousand years ago.

You claim that it is hotter than ever, and that it must be caused by CO2. If it was just as warm 700 years ago, that warming could not have been caused by human use of fossil fuels. If that warm period had some other cause, then perhaps this one does also. That is why alarmists try so hard to deny the Medeival Warming Period happened, it presents a viable alternate to their settled science.
