1) If we jiggered with SS so she could have untired at 60, that job would belong to a 22 YO currently unemployed college jock. Kaching 2) Somebody on TV last night said she can retire now. Is this taxable, like game show winnings, or are these considered a bunch of <13K non-taxable gifts. I hope those kids really do get it. Sadly, one hasn't apologized yet. The mother who wanted her kid to "work or something" reminds me of Dad. That's something he would have made us do, but, then, we would never have done that in the first place; not in the least because we didn't need bus monitors. Also, at that age, he would have introduced (again) my butt to his belt. Prolly come up with a few more punishments, too, like "no school/youth sports for a year".

The folks who hide behind pseudonyms and then get all rough and tough and aggressive are the most pathetic, lily-livered pussies in the universe, with zero guts to stand accountable for anything they say or do. And like stupid schoolkids, it's best just to roll up the window and ignore them while they scream and shout on their playground. Because let's face it, they don't have the balls to stand up to anyone anywhere else. My E-mail is easy to find and I have never but never had any communication outside SI from anyone who tried to get all huffy and puffy here. Not in 15 years. They are pansies playing a childish game.
