sergio: I can accept the clearinghouse method. What I find amusing is that between all these people at the two clearinghouses they can't accurately determine my true option position till Tuesday at noon ! I'm not paid to know all there is about options. When I asked my broker Friday at 4pm what my actual position is he tells no activity. Then again Monday morning again no activity. Then later in the day Monday we have activity of 100% and then Tuesday we have just 23% activity. Now their paid to know all there is about options....not me. Why can't they tell me sir, we won't know your actual true option position till sometime Tuesday. Why tell me there different activity levels over the course of three days ? ( 0%, 100%, & 23%).
