" No matter how many Al Qeuda we take out there will be 10 to replace them."

That seems to be the plan, keep them in a constant state of reorganization and hiding, and they can't DO anything. It's not something there's any plan to WIN. Obama's given up on the "War on Terror". When's the last time you heard that phrase?

and, it seems to be working:

People need to realize the equation here. No matter how many Al Qeuda we take out there will be 10 to replace them. Osama is a hero on large portions of the muslm world. Their numbers are infinite.
Their numbers are not infinite. There are only so many Al Qaeda members in the world, and it's not a huge number. Of course we can't kill every one of them, and of course there are new recruits, but from everything I've read, their numbers are decreasing, not increasing.

I am mostly in agreement with those statements. I am certainly for exiting AFghan as I fail to see it as part of our vital strategic interests. If the Taliban take over the country so what as long as they don't sponsor organized terrorists bases and if they do a missile, drone, or if we need too, B52 strike is available.

I do think the countries on Afghan's border (Pakistan, India, Iran, and China) will largely keep it from exporting any kind of religious extremism.
