North Americans need to placate their Indians and their science must be politically correct aligned with the Indians' views. What kind of people has 25.000 years and develop nothing? Doesn't this goes against 'scientific' self serving propositions that the guys who come from cold lands are resourceful and hard working and developed many things and prospered? They crossed that cold span of land, Beringia thing wants to believe. How comes they just ended up being hunters and gatherers (ok a little agriculture and some domestication of animals) while the very same folks left back in Eurasia prospered? Some could tell these North American Indians that they had all those resources for themselves and did not invent anything. So Europeans only brought benefits for them. They have to put up and shut up.
