>>But what in the world happened to the POG this morning, it went sub-300??<<

The speculation is that it has to do with some statements re the role of gold in relation to the European currency--but the real question is whether it is indicative of a deflationary environment.

Whatever the reason, what I do know is that my gold stocks--even though they were investments-- have been creamed and there is no end in sight. Just glad that I did not add to my positions. What it goes to show is the danger in having preconceived notions about any market--gold, stocks, whatever--and why one needs to be willing to accept what the market is trying to tell us.

>>Re: "we need not be "cheap" and "cheaper" any longer:)"

Yes, you and Mikey need not be<<

Not sure why you pulled our dear Mikey into this -- I thought it was just you and me. I have an excuse -- my gold stocks. Now what is your excuse??

Besides, I guess "cheap and cheaper" is better than "dumb and dumber" --right??

Good morning, Judy.

I will do some homework this weekend also.

SOX looks weak and they are still selling AMAT. In semi-equip,
NVLS has least block selling, FWIW.

IOM...not sure it's a good thing to have "momentum" or not. Looks
like distribution going on now.

Let's see if tech will pull down or catch up with SPX.

Later.
