FOR MONDAY, A CLOSE BELOW 1314.70 WOULD CONFIRM A NEW SELL SIGNAL...

Seismo,
I agree with everything you wrote. that's a given. Great POST. but those buckets of benjamin moore china white have done a lot of kicking down the road. when will it end? has it? has GS gone totally short, or is that a fake out.
i used to have a gut feel about individual stocks. never on the market as a whole. no longer. nothing nada. I am clearly not one of those "good traders". Never was, but 2009, when I sold everything prematurely near year end, was the best trading year of my career. Because i aggressively bought the bottom on every stock i already owned, at a loss. obviously at a loss. March 6, 2009. i retained 25% cash, in case i lived through it......LOL should have thrown it all in on march 6 when i made some of the trades of a lifetime. got out way way way too soon because of the sickness called reality. (and the other sickness of pessimism).

it all seems so random. and if you read the day to day stuff on this thread, no one's gut, has a clue. There are the perennial bulls, if I cared I would rerun the thread back to 2008-2009 just out of curiosity. not that curious.
Although GZ's model has no emotion, and is quite the thing to emulate. This market can make anyone bipolar. It's always been manipulated, I believe, more on a stock by stock basis. not the whole bloody thing. Therein lies the difference. I could be full of it. Is the percentage of daily volume still around 70% HFT. in and out. A major ponzi scheme. where do those numbers come from, me just j6p.
You seem new to the thread. fresh ideas. me, i just hide most of the time, particularly since i've basically stopped trading. a penny biotech here or there. but nada. Good trading.
And, one other thing, i don't think anyone can trade this market currently successfully, it is too random. (maybe the randomness is part of GS's wonder software). only it's top brokers know every morning what is going to happen. Crap, I sound truly paranoid, gotta up the meds, LOL
