However, I think you and others on this thread are too binary in your thinking. You equate a criticism of the Dems to be praise of the GOP.
This is a binary system and doing otherwise would be foolish. I am sure what you see on this thread is the choice of the better of two devils. The Republican party has become a ragtag army. They have banded together for their convenience to grab the White House. And after they acquire the prize, they would want to take their piece of the booty. The Tea party would be pulling Romney in one direction, Limbaugh and his people would be pulling the party in another direction and so on. And look at Romney. Is he a leader? The people who voted for him in Mass. applaud Romneycare and his best achievement as their Governor. And he is not even proud of that. Instead he is running away from that. So what sort of a leader is he when he bends to the extremists in his own party.

I'm voting for Ron Paul as a write-in candidate, which you all should be happy about, because it essentially takes away a vote from Romney.
MM, this depends on the state you are a resident. If you are in a blue state, it won't matter. But if you are in a red state, your vote for Ron Paul does not neutralize a right winger's vote. It possible that Ron Paul wins that red state (as a write-in) but it is extremely unlikely.

Ron Paul is not Ralph Nader in 2000. Nader was on the ballot, and that egomaniac took away votes for Gore, and let his conscience haunt him for the mess that GWB/Cheney created.
