>> You need to read up some more such as the carbon cycle

I will. Just show me a link supporting your claim that atmospheric CO2 is a poison.

>> we have a environmental calamity.

The planet has been warming for the past 18,000 years. There is no environmental calamity.

Cutting down the forests is a problem. Stop it. Except of course that the forests in the western US have been so poorly managed for the past 50 years. There used to be 30 large trees per acre. Now there are over 1000. Now, The forest fires have so much fuel, a typical fire will obliterate the ecosystem. We can thank the environmentalists for this situation.

>> But when we see such mundane stuff in our laws, they need to be changed.

You appear to be another liberal who is unhappy with the current structure of the US. I have documented elsewhere how liberals are unhappy with many of the existing institutions and want them abolished. The supreme court, the Senate, the Electoral college and more. You appear to dislike the separation of powers that allow the states to be somewhat independent of each other and the Federal government.

I have no problem with the State of MA having powers that the Federal government does not.

I accept the current structure as a one that has served this nation well. As a conservative, I will resist the liberal agenda of fundamentally changing the institutions that have made this country great.
