First, with a drone we are making the decision in real time on site. It's just not the door gunner equivalent that is doing it, but someone higher up the COC.

Second, it is true the terrorists are attempting to hide in the "sea of the native people" and some of our drone shots are killing some of those people. But here is the call. If you know that some of those shots that take out the natives also save the lives of soldiers that we have placed in harm's way, and ALSO take out the head that directs these terrorists which way do you go there? Not easy is it? For me there's a lot of "depends" in there.

Third, we are not using drones in mass over sovereign nations--we are using drones in mass over "unsovereign" nations. Nations that cannot or will not control the activity in their own territory. That is a big factual difference. NO?
