I misread your post, and thought you were saying that iPhone sales were down. But you just said estimates. Sorry.

I still have to wonder whether analysts have lowered numbers based on the availability of the Galaxy S III. Have you seen statements from analysts citing that as a factor in their iPhone estimates? Personally, I would place anticipation of the IPhone 5 ahead of that, though of course the Samsung offering has to have had at least some effect, as you say.

It will be interesting to see the actual iPhone numbers when Apple reports.
