I'm headed for Aspen and then Silverthorne a week from Thursday. From all I've been told, the fires aren't burning anywhere near those areas.

Having those fires as bad as they are this year is downright scary! I've several friends and family who live in CO, and with the super hot temps, and as dry as it's been, it really is frightening for everyone! Do you keep a car packed with somethings you want to keep just in case? What do people do about valuables? I really feel badly for not only the people who have lost houses, but all the wild animals that are either killed or scared..... Thank heavens for the firefighters everywhere who are doing such a good job.....Stay safe!

Speaking of Pikes Peak, on our trip to CO last Nov, I got altitude sickness, so couldn't go up PP.....our son found a couple of videos, including one at double speed up, and we watched those on his super big TV screen.....

Hang On.....
