How did you trust them yesterday?

How did you trust the results back in the day when you'd go through a travel agent?

As long as we all keep in mind that every free service is trying to sell you something - or trying to sell you *to* something :) - and act accordingly, I think it's all good.

Just how much effort are we going to have to put into deciphering search results which we hope will favor us but which go to increasing lengths to steer us towards an advertiser's goal, not our goal? This is an easy one because you can get hotels ranked by price, but going forward the choices will become more anymore difficult until it's like reading a legal contract's fine print to figure out what the search is expected to deliver.
I think this is what we have to expect if we are going to consider ourselves to be entitled to getting services for free. If it's a slippery slope, I'd say we've already been sliding down it for a while now.
