I have read the extra insurance costs are around 1%. Adn we cannot throw both the bums out as who is left to make the decisions? We have to quit electing stupid people and criminals to run our country! The problem with this country is us. Ike over Stvenson, Nixon over Macgovern, and then a string of brian dead Republicans like Raygun, and the bush's. Therein lies our problem. Bush was a high functioning idiot. Haley Barbour, Tom Delay and Issa are hard core criminals. Then look at the Tea party. A rag tag group of clueless people at best and loony toones at worst. We need to elect more people like Elizabeath Warren, Bernie Sanders and some professors.. If we had elected Howard Dean he would have been one of our greatest presidents. <<Why can't we pare costs back? How much is tort reform needed to accomplish that? How much is the cost of defensive medicine, red tape and malpractice insurance factor into it? Maybe throw the bums out of both parties since the legal industrial complex owns the Dems?
