Top secret: $80B a year for food stamps, but feds won’t reveal what’s purchased

Lorne, my favorite one is the purchasing of bottled water on the freeloader card, walking out of the store to spill it out, then returning the empty bottles to get a few pennies in deposit.

Nobody can make this crap up, and we are paying millions for a few pennies for drugs and booze.

p.s. Note the race of the woman in link #2 before I get labeled as a filthy scum racist PIG.

Here's a valuable employee...........

Clerk loses job over stand Won’t take welfare card for cigarettes

“I made the statement, ‘do you think myself, that lady and that gentlemen should pay for your cigarettes?’ and he responded ‘yes,’ ” Whiton said.

Whiton said she does not object to using the programs for food assistance, but does not think a person should be able to use public funds to buy cigarettes.

“They can’t even buy toilet paper with the EBT grocery cards but they can buy beer and cigarettes with the EBT cash cards,” Whiton said, “Go figure.”
