I'm asking nicely to stop erecting these straw man caricatures.” Once again, you choose to personalise nearly every post--which is clearly what you have been asked NOT to do. You have chosen, as well, to invent allegations out of whole cloth and you cannot deny how contrived, artificial, and deliberate are these false allegations you make. A case in point: Nothing in the post you responded to was a caricature. Indeed, I have never drawn a likeness of you anywhere at anytime. Nor have I ever invented or distorted your beliefs. Your biblical claims are daily occurrences on SI. And you have admitted that you are on this thread to defend those superstitions against the Science which very clearly and positively contradicts them. Do you or do you not insist that the universe and the earth came about in the same week? And does this or does this not contradict Science--which knows their ages to be several billion years apart? Do you or do you not insist that all life was created in the same week and that humans and (say) dinosaurs lived contemporaneously? And does this or does this not contradict Science--which knows humans to be a very late life form coming into existence at the very end of a 4 Billion year stretch and post dating all most all other major life forms? Do you or do you not insist that there was a global genocide where a handful of people and a boatload of animals rode the waters “higher than the highest mountain tops” for over a full year? And does this or does this not completely contradict the fossil record and all scientific disciplines--which show with complete unanimity that this was 100% IMPOSSIBLE. Own these beliefs or deny them NOW. And desist thereafter from your personalization, your insults, and your pretences against me. If the Science bothers you, then put those of us here to discuss science--and how it overwhelms superstition and proves Evolution...ON IGNORE. OK??
