Agree. But, I expected them to take on what I think is a killer size niche - 5" - presently served only by one device, namely the Samsung GALAXY Note.

The 7" arena is filled to the brim and not selling. The 5" Note is flying off the shelves.

The Nexus 7 has no rear camera, no expansion slot, no phone and is therefore just another run of the mill 7" slab, priced like all the others, desired by few if any, thus far.


Size matters, but at this point nobody knows if the girls like small or large. <g>

Been saying this for years on this this thread... A 10x14 thin lite retina tablet would be dynamite. Even at $1200. Bluetooth keyboard and mouse if you wanted. Photoshop software where you could touch and FEEL your photos. 14x20, paper thin and light, everything software and storage on the cloud? Who knows in 10 years?

The tablet is an an infant. It doesn't know what it wants to be yet. A little baby.
