Holiday tip for obsessed dieters and Thanksgiving overeaters:
I usually have a can of Ultra Slim Fast for lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for breakfast. Drink a lot of water on Thursday and you won't be ingesting 5,000 calories which is the national average for thanksgiving feast.. Now have a great holiday!!
Thursday Morning..

Hi Last,

Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else. I am certainly looking forward to the vacation.

To anyone who can answer this question:

What is a New York Surplus?

Those of you that are daytraders are you limited to the amount money that you can trade in a day? Say that you have $10,000 ($20,000 margined) can you only trade 40,000 dollars in a day. According to my broker you can not buy and sell stock during a trading day even when the trade has been completely paid for more tan double your current assests. In other words, if I have $10,000 ($20,000 margin) in the account I can only make two trades of $20,000 on margin in a day. These trades are a completed trade, meaning that the stock was bought and sold, before another trade was executed. Is this true for everyone, or am I getting the run around. I have traded like this for years with the same brokerage house and now they tell me I can't. Moreover, they state that it could never or can never be done. I trade with DLJ.

Any help is appreciated

Have a great holiday,

Jim
