Raises analogies to Earl Warren, Harry Blackmun and David Souter. Recall Blackmun was nominated by Richard Nixon and gave us Roe v. Wade.

This will kill any chance of a jobs rebound.

Agree. It also makes it hard for Obama to run against a "radical right wing" court. I think this hurts Obama's chances in November. Obamacare haters will be fired up and as you noted, it does nothing to help the job situation.
