This Libor debacle is going to spread. And its going to be ugly.
Agree. Until last year when I locked in a fixed 15 yr loan as a flation hedge, I had a 1 YR ARM based on LIBOR with HSBC. The way I see it, if they show the banks manipulated LIBOR to be higher than it should be, then I'm owed many years of interest. It is very easy to calculate how much extra I paid each year if you tell me how much higher LIBOR was when annual rates were set each year....
