His promise of wealth redistribution is now in progress. Control of the population through their pocketbooks and dependency on the government is just about a fait accompli. "Fine, you go out and earn your money, but we'll tell you how to spend it. If you want this item, you'll have to also buy this item, or pay the fine." The American public is proving the government right: "You don't know how to take care of yourself, but don't worry, we'll do it for you. Go stand in Line A until we call your name."
