Roberts is getting something big in return for his decision. Since they can now tax us for not doing things, don't be surprised if you get taxed for not exercising and not eating peas and broccoli. I can't think of a single tax that is paid for NOT doing something. Gas taxes, cigarette taxes, alcohold taxes, car sticker taxes, registration taxes, sales taxes, income taxes--are all taxes resulting from doing something either earning or buying. You didn't make your bed this morning. That's a $10 tax.

I'm still reeling and unable to respond intelligently right now. I will simply say that for Roberts do what he did is mind-blowing, although it probably shouldn't be a surprise to me or anyone.
