Once light shines on too high instances of procedures including tests, in some regions, the waste, fraud, and abuse (doing things that have no benefit) can be reduced a lot. There have to be economies from better nutrition. And different people are charged a wide range of fees for the same thing.

Have you ever seen waste, fraud, or abuse that increased cost to an insured or to the entire system?

Without any identifying information, what is the range of charges for blood work, or for a routine blood test? Not a Dollar amount, just a ratio.

It's more than 5:1 for some procedures. I've seen 10:1. I'm guessing you've seen higher.
