The only thing saving the Brits in the near term is the printing press/electronic entry system. They weren't stupid to join the Euro so they have some time left, but the reality is the North Sea is running out of oil, all their colonies are gone, they still have the expensive mouths of the royals to feed, in the medium to long term, Britain as a Sovreign Nation will have to be relinquished to their lenders.
