Dave: I never saw that info. After I got in today ($12 1/2) the volume was still low (tad over 50k). I took a nap and at 2:45pm MCRE volume is big and she dropped a $1. I'm tempted to buy some more. You and I have seen her edge lower over the past several weeks. But why ? Other stocks that had big run ups are dropping big (CUBE $17 to $34 to $20 1/2) and perhaps its just good 'ole profit taking. Maybe nothing is wrong. Still until I see negative facts I'm holding on. FYI, MACR is holding up near $10 after a run up from $7ish to $14ish. Recall when MCRE was under $7 ? So perhaps this recent down turn isn't any big deal ?

Dave, I noted you said you got in MCRE when she was $14ish and so perhaps you didn't read this, I think interesting, dated piece.

pathfinder.com

I spent a lot of free time searching for those CEO comments that you noted but to no avail. I tried PRNnews for almost a half an hour; couldn't find it. From the sound of the comments it could have been from the Emerald Research review. During the last two months didn't MCRE recently present their technology to them in I think Philly ? Or was it Pittsburg ?

BTW: Have you checked EDGAR to note the number of SEC-form 144s that were filed ? Compare the 144 file dates to the MCRE chart (at this web site) and note that they appeared to have dried up during the latter part of the current stock easing. So perhaps the 144s have ceased as well as maybe (wishing thinking) the stock's slide ?

BTW (take 2) I don't read names of the people who file their 144s but I wonder Kai was among them ?

Well MCRE made this weekends Barrons. Their listed in the Insider Transactions section. Anyway the list of stock sales notes four insiders sold 170,000 shares worth $2,526,000. According to Barrons thats a change of 9 % in I'm assuming their holdings. Dates for the transactions were not indicated. According to my calculator that works out to an average of $ 14 7/8th-ish.

Now I'm assuming that the above sales were actual sales versus SEC Form-144 applications. Perhaps the above noted apparent sales were the result of form-144s apllications ? Barrons does define insiders as someone owning 10 % or more of a company's stock.

Now I have looked at EDGAR and haven't seen any more recent form-144s since 11/13th '97. But I wonder if the above discussed sales reflect the 5 by my account Nov '97 form-144s shown at EDGAR ? Perhaps the above noted sales just reflect the 6 Oct '97 form 144s that EDGAR is showing ?

Also, does anyone know if sales by insiders are allowed only if SEC form-144s applications are made first ? And then after submitting a form-144 is there a waiting period ? Basically I'm asking if an insider can just pick up their phone on a given day and sell x-amount of their shares without first completing an SEC form 144 ?
