Economic Indicators of sentiment are usually contrarian indicators.

Check out how they bottomed in early 2009....
Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index
University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index

consumer sentiment dipped to 73.2 in June, according to the Thomson Reuters/University of Michigan's survey, hitting its lowest level this year.
