Thoreau did that as an experiment living on Walden Pond for 2 years. I've done it for a week or 10 days at a time. It's nice to live inside the roots that make things grow and develop. Aristotle called that the energeia or the moving cause of all things. I hold humans (in all shapes and forms) higher than nature, so I cannot do that for any extended period of time. But "different strokes for different folks", as the saying goes.
