Thank YOU for your comments. :) One other thing about the military, at least the Army, was when we moved, friends were there to be made and quickly because everyone else was in the same boat, so to speak. We moved into a civilian community when Joe retired and yes, there were one or two families who became friends. We actually had a neighbor across the street come and tell us that he wouldn't be seeing much of us; he had already formed his friendships in the neighborhood. Amazing comment :)
