As a further sidenote, I was scheduled to spend six months in London, England. I became pregnant and decided not to go to a country with socialized medicine. At the time, I lived next to Canada and as there were not enough hospital rooms, women were giving birth in ambulances in the parking lot: it was not uncommon.
