This is the weekly update of the Group and SOXM(SOX) tables in terms of earnings estimates and price changes.

Earnings estimates continue to trend downward, particularly for the SOXM stocks. It is not a big amount each week, but it is rather steady. Earnings for the SOXM peaked out for both Cur Yr and Nxt Yr the week of 3/4/11 at 47.77 and 50.54. There have been some changes in the SOXM makeup since that date, but nevertheless the trend has been down to close at 29.21 and 38.24 to set another interim low this week.

The SOX index has had 4 up weeks in a row. The index has gone from 353.17 to 385.46, a gain of 9.1 percent. If the news from Europe continues to be good for the market the SOX might have another green week, but it is ripe for a pullback.
