Roger, RE: ZITL. Since these are non-qualified options, the tax event occurs when the options are exercised. Therefore, Mr. King could not delay the tax liability for another year. (Thanks to Mr. Suzman on the ZITL thread).
Best Regards, Bill

Roger,

<< If Jack King had any hope of the stock price going up or even holding steady, he would have waited until January to dump>>

I've been shorting some more myself. I'm not so sure, however, that King's selling assures us there will be no contracts/positive news in the next couple months. King's selling now has the ready, albeit poor, excuse of covering tax liability and "increasing stake" in co.: minor stock price damage. King selling after first contract: major price damage, as well as giving fuel to the lawsuits already contemplated.
The tax benefit of waiting till Jan. may have seemed less than the benefit of selling under the cover of a "diversion".

I would say, however, if there is any positive news, I don't see any way it could be very substantial.

Regards,

Greg

P.S. Thanks Bill, for Suzmann's tax info.--just read it.

I agree with you, Zitl remains on my most favored short list.

Roger, tried to double my share position onZITL today but was too greedy with the limit at $11 1/4. I wonder why the company had to go through such long explanation to reach the bottom line conclusion that, whatever the purpose, the CEO indeed got reed of 60,000 shares.

Roger: (reply to your CTXS thread post)

Thanks for your input. I'm replying here because the CTXS thread seems to be full of posts and posters without substance. Looks like my two simple questions got a lot of emotional bulls upset...

I presume that Hydra is imminent CTXS competition. Could you enlighten me as to what it is and the supplier?

Regarding shorting, I'm quite aware of the risks. Made some good trades by stabbing at ZITL and VIAS, but covered too early for quick profits.

I have found MACD's (I use a Fast2-Slow15-Signal10 for faster signals, the standard version is too slow for me) good for going long, but have not used them for timing shorts. Do you use any TA tools to time your trades?

Looking at the chart, resistance around 79 has been tested a few times, and looks like a good point for going short. If CTXS breaks 80, anything can happen, I guess.
