IMPORTANT TO ALL ON THE LISTS: NDB RESPONSE

I got a phone call back from NDB this morning and here are the details.

Our representative in negotiating this deal with NDB is John Cullen.
His phone number is 800-888-3999 X 5243.

He has guaranteed 5 free trades per account so far at this point. That means about $75 in free online trades to us. I told him I would put it to the group and we would see. Personally, I think that is too low of an offer for what we are bringing them. He did say once we get more info to him as to the actual amount of the accounts and the dollar values we are talking about he can plead our case to upper management to see what else they can do for us. I don't have John's direct e-mail address yet but I will Friday. When I get it, or if you prefer phone the above number, we individually have to contact him and tell him the following information.

1) Your name
2) Tell him you are part of the Silicon Investors group looking to move your account/accounts to NDB.
3) Tell him how many and what type of accounts you are looking to move and a rough dollar amount.
4) Request an application at this time (to expediate the process if we decide to go with NDB)
5) Tell him what you feel would be a fair incentive for us to all move to NDB. (This is just my opinion, but if we don't ask we won't get it- as they see a ton of money between all of us coming to them or not, they will loosen up, in my opinion)

I don't want to handle your personal financial information and you should not want to give it to anyone on the internet. That is why we are giving the info direct to John and let him calculate it and see what else he can do for us.

Lurkers, not on the list, if you want to move your account to NDB, you can follow the same method and get the same deal that we negotiate.
The more accounts and the more dollars in those accounts the better deal we will get, I feel.

I propose after everyone has had a chance to get the info to John, probably Wed. of next week, I can contact him again and he can tell me what they can do for us and at that point I'll bring their response back here to SI, we can vote on it, if we choose to accept the offer, we fill out the applications and process them according to the deal they will give each and every one of us.

John was familiar with SI so I suspect he will find and watch this thread. This is a good thing, if so, so he will know how we feel and what we are looking for.

My next post will be about some of the things I found out about NDB in the conversations I had with John today.

For the record, I think we should get a minimum of 20 free trades each or one month of free trading. I would accept either one but it would really be great if they gave us a choice.
