Ramsey, you really are starting to rant about politics like a dinkum madman! Good for you. It's a job and somebody has to do it. As you say, the wealth effect evaporation will have an instant impact on speculative spending so an instant recession. But that all means an instant reduction in borrowings too so an instant reduction in interest rates. So less printing needed - but they'll do it anyway.
Meanwhile, panic in the markets as speculators liquidate or are liquidated.

So SHOPPING TIME!!! For shares and airfares - wow! Time to spend. Like Qualcomm did in the bust San Diego property market a few years back. I could hardly believe the bargains they were getting.

Meanwhile, Gold hits a low as it becomes just another bunch of concentrated protons and neutrons with lots of of electrons hanging around making it kind of squishy and yellow.

Okay, enough! Good riddance to the EU....
Maurice

Ramsey, what RT service did you choose? I suspect you did some homework, which I'd like to piggyback on. <g>
