54% is good, but Republicans still need more than one issue and that's greater faith in managing the economy.

It's still mostly the economy, stupid! to paraphrase James Carville. "greater faith" polls are a waste of time at this point, esp. as most of the country still has no idea who Mitt Romney is, other than rich, white, Republican and Mormon. The right track/wrong track numbers and Obama's job approval are more meaningful, and they are not a good omen for his reelection.
