thread, dell is just being treated the way cpq was treated from 1988 to 1991. sooner or later the market will get worreid about this high end only and features only strategy and dump dell like they did cpq in mar of 1991. the push now is to the home pc and it's over seas. where at home they want a sub zero pc to buy at all and lower cost with the features at work. dell still has time to avoid any tanking. but, by feb 98 they have to prove cost can be lowered. by the way, contary to a statement by jmbo.. cpq hasn't impl. their bto.. it's just now happening....
