Isn't there some sort of SI penalty for providing knowingly false information??

RE Bigfoot's email address tracer:

Henry, Bigfoot's database is NOT complete, and like all such databases will contain many no-longer-true and erroneous entries.

The only way to verify an email address is to try it.

For example, Bigfoot did NOT trace my email address to me, even though I am registered with Switchboard, a really huge database and wonderfully useful service. That means that Bigfoot likely does not contain the wealth of data available thru Switchboard (unless it got it elsewhere).

Bigfoot DID trace my son's email address. He's registered with the Seattle Community Network. Perhaps the SCN provided its database to Bigfoot.

My point --- Let's not be too quick to jump to perjorative conclusions.

Regards,
Cheryl

PS
Your name, address, and phone number (but not your email address) ARE available at Switchboard (as are mine). However, I can see that you are not REGISTERED with them. If you find your entry to be an invasion of your privacy, you can contact them to have your entry removed.

(You can tell by the * next to my name that my Switchboard entry is registered.)
