I agree with that but while it may have placed some limitation on the commerce clause, it creates a new theory which claims that somehow the taxing power can be used to do what the commerce clause does not allow the government to do. For example under Roberts' theory. The government could mandate us all to buy an American Made Car this year to strengthen the economy and if we refuse to do it, they could fine us. Doesn't sound like anything in that for those who believe in limited government.

I think it possible that Roberts may be another Suter.

Well as I have often said the Republicans are the party of stupid and the dems are the party of evil.

Not much changes.
