The $60 million is pocket change to Apple, but I'm still sorry they had to pay it.
Yes, they can afford the 60 million, but it's not an insignificant amount of money. They'll have to sell a whole lot of iPads in China to make it back. On the other hand, they'll probably will sell a whole lot of iPads in China.

I agree. Extortionists. At least now Apple can go full bore in China which will hopefully make up for having to pay the ransom.
