The home of Canadian medicare has a shortage of LPNs and doctors. We are currently importing nurses from the Philipines and New Zealand. Canadian Medicare has gone to Mediocre-care for most people. To solve the doctor dilemna the colleges have added an extra two year course for nurses so they can write prescriptions and deal with basic things such as exams.

Medicine is comprised of diagnostics and treatment. If you want a quick accurate diagnosis for what ails you the Mayo clinic in Rochester appears to be the place most Canadian doctors travel to. I wonder what they know the rest of us don't.

"Aside from repeatedly violating the TOU, you really do have an obsession with Tommy Douglas"

You are of course entitled to your opinion...

"But opinion, being unreliable, involves those who accept it in equally uncertain fortunes." Gorgias
