Gerald, When I buy a stock, I use my money or borrow money, in the hope that the stock performs well . I have a problem with the ethics of someone "borrowing" someone elses stock in the hope that another guy loses money down the road. Hey, there are a lot of people that don't care about HOW they make money, and this is the root of many problems - does Felderhoff care about the lives he ruined - no way, as long as his bank account is filled with $, even dirty $. I have seen the attitude of shorters by following this thread, and it only verifies my attitude towards making money that way. Hey, casinos are legal here in Quebec, and it's ruining many lives... I know of 4 ordinary and uneducated working guys that have lost everything and are now in debt beyond hope... legal here in Quebec now, but all the government cares about is making money, not the lives they ruin or how they make that money.
