I don't think Cramer wrote that piece on COMS Monday. I believe it was written by staff reporter Kevin Petrie. Cramer only contributes some of the columns on TSC. He has talked about this on the Ascend thread. Here is a link for his profile. You can read his messages yourself if you like.

For now, x2 appears to be winning; the majority of working 56K Internet connections
we've encountered are x2 compatible. Internet points of presence (POPs) for K56flex
have definitely lagged behind, mostly due to delayed release of central site equipment
and problems with interoperability among different vendor products. Now that product
is out the door, K56flex is reaching ISPs rapidly, and many corporations are using
K56flex for remote access connections. x2's lead should all but vanish during the first
half of 1998.

I have to agree about Cramer, he sure flies with the momentum crowd.

I have seen him say entirely two different things the same day. He is on CNBC and practically blasts you out of the chair and the next day on Good Morning America he is a pussycat!

I guess if you are trying to get a business going you have to hype-it! He has some good opinions although I don't agree with most of them. He has his investment style and we have ours.

Bullish and loving it!

Eric
