Yes, but that's fine, Lorne. There's nothing that you or I can do about it. Men with trillions of dollars are inexorably pushing the world in that direction. I've long maintained that as soon as they begin requiring a government-controlled license to use the Internet, I'll log off permanently and live out the remainder of my days completely offline like we used to do before about 1985. The Internet is a good resource for many things, but a government-controlled Internet is a nuisance, a menace, and threat. When they takeover, I will simply retire and repair to a new home in the mountains of the northwest, either in the U.S. or Alberta. I'll conduct all transactions exclusively by mail through my accountant, tax adviser, and/or attorney and I'll hope and pray that I die before the bastards decide to come for me for reasons that the leftists dream up to rob me even more than they already do. I'll just have to convince my wife that cold weather is not as bad as she believes. -g/ng-
