'calculate to the warmest year-to-date and 12-month periods since record keeping began in 1895."

Now lets see in 1895 there were no airports, cars, far fewer and smaller cities. At no time since 1895 have the recording and placement of these thermometers been supervised and I believe I am correct in saying that there are far fewer sites today than in 1895. Most major airports are reporting centers and I am pretty sure there weren't in 1895. I am also sure that it is warmer at an airport today than in a cornfield in 1895.

So we take all these variables into consideration and we know from the climate gate records that they are playing games with the numbers.

All of this is documented on sites such as Climate Depot, climate audit and others and somehow we are supposed to believe that scientists can take this disparate information and tell us that the warming we are seeing is caused by CO2. And we take it on faith. Well I would certainly expect readings to be higher on balance, but the higher readings seem to me to more likely because they are monitering at places like airports instead of cornfields.

Are you ever gullible.
