I live in Virginia and have never been contacted by him or his campaign. If you are going to run and win, a candidate has to get the word out. This is about Term LImits; however, there is another way that the same folks stay in control. That is the continuation of the same family year after year in various and different positions in government. For example----read more.

Certainly with Tim Kaine who is the Dem candidate for the USASenate------there is the continuation of a political line in Virginia that keeps reappearing.

Former Democrat Governor Tim Kaine is married to Ann Holton who is the daughter of former Governor LInwood Holton of Virginia. Gov. L. Holton served as a Republican Gov. in 1970-1974. Holton then eventually moved to the Democrat Party.

Recently, I received an e-mail asking for contributions using the tag line that Kaine is Holton's Son-in-law and citing Holton as having been the "Republican Governor in 1970-1974" in Virginia . Former Governor Holton is no longer a Republican ----------so you can see the games that get played.

This was done obviously in an attempt to first get contributions of $3 to $5.00 and second to take Republican votes from the US Senate Candidate George Allen who is a strong Republican in the General Election in November.

Will it work? One friend was appalled and felt his using that connection in an attempt to sway votes for his Democrat Son-in-Law who endorsed Obama in 2007-2008 and became the DNC Chairman, might have a slight effect if the voter is impressed by introductory lines and goes no further in their reading.

No doubt more will be heard from Tim Donner at some point in time.
