I don't know of any dilution that wasn't expected whenever the ALRI call was to be exercised. Did Ligand issue something new that hasn't been discussed (ad nauseum) on this thread? The 25 is a fair value considering that profitability has moved up an entire year. This stock is down because the sector is still out of favor (despite a few small rallys during the year). My own opinion is that all anyone has to do is study Ligand in detail to find more value than many co's that sell for more than 25. When the market finally comes around, we are not looking at a nice 33% pop, we're counting bags. Predictions all have one thing in common: they may not come true. But anyone who is absolutely convinced that it's "out of the question" really belongs in index funds and Dow dogs. Those who aren't ready to roll the dice should stand back from the table.
