I agree, though, I give a $50 premium about a 20% chance. Aside from killing Android tablets it makes any possible 7 inch Surface Vaporace intro DOAce.

It wasn't a prediction (for 2012, anyway).

I'm with you on this, Slacker. I would expect a 7" WiFi-only iPad to come in at no less than $249, and more likely $299, as you say.
