Last night I was struggling to sleep as I was considering what is to me, obvious evidence of God’s will. Looking at the past evidence it is clear to me what God desires, but I could not determine why He desires it. This is as it should be, because no human can comprehend the true greatness of God or His plan.

I asked myself “why did God allow Abraham to spare both of his sons, Isaac and Ishmael.” Clearly God desired both sons to live for a reason. IMO, because He was looking forward to the future.

God knew that to Isaac’s descendents He would send word of His Message to Jews through Jesus Christ, even as He knew that not all would believe.

God also knew that to Ishmael’s descendents He would send word of His Message through the Prophet Muhammad (peace be with him).

This is when I was given a flash of insight. “If God commanded Abraham to build a TABLE upon which He would work; would it not require at least three legs of proper proportion, in order to stand?”
